Univision Communications announced that its national evening newscast, Noticiero Univisión (Monday-Friday, 6:30-7pm) saw audience growth across all key demographics while the English-language networks reported minimal audience lifts and/or declines compared to January 2011. Noticiero Univision consistently grew its news audience in the last seven consecutive months (July 2011 through January 2012) across all Viewers 2+ and in the last three consecutive months (November 2011 through January 2012) among key Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 viewers.Univision Networks has the ability to attract audiences that are a generation younger than the competition (a median of 44 years old vs. the median English-language broadcast news audience of 62).During the month of January 2012, Noticiero Univision co-anchored by journalists María Elena Salinas and Jorge Ramos delivered more young viewers ages 18-34 than CBS Evening News (434,000 vs. 418,000).
