The 11th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will heat up Las Vegas and Mandalay Bay Events Center on Thursday, November 11, 2010, as today’s hottest Latin artists take center stage. This marks the third time Las Vegas will host the international showcase of Latin music. Additionally, The Latin Recording Academy, Univisión, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, announced a new multiyear partnership, making this year the first, in a three-year agreement. Univisión and Mandalay Bay Events Center will be the home of the Latin Grammys for 2010, 2011, and 2012. Nominations for the 11th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will be announced Wednesday, September 8th, 2010. “We are extremely excited about bringing the Latin Grammys to the vibrant city of Las Vegas once again. The shows we’ve done from Mandalay Bay Events Center have been truly extraordinary, breaking audience records each time, and we look forward to once again partnering with The Latin Recording Academy to create a most memorable night for our viewers and to celebrate all the artistry this city and Latin music have to offer,” said Luis Fernández, president of Entertainment at Univisión Network. The 11th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will air live on Univisión on November 11th at 8pm. Additionally, the telecast will be seen globally in approximately 100 countries.
