Thanks to their programming strategy, Univision states that they have in-house content or content that is already produced, which allows them to be stocked by 90% until next year. “We feel confident and happy to have solid programming. Due to our partnership with Televisa and the acquisitions strategy, we have a complete grid until 2021,” states Elisa Segovia, VP Programming, and Brand Strategy at Univision.

She mentioned that they have had to suspend some productions such as Pequeños Gigantes, whose debut “was a hit reaching 5 million People 2+ and in which the last episode we aired on Sunday, April 4 reached 2 million TV viewers,” he added. The season was shortened to three episodes. To replace this content, they program family films.

Another suspended production is Enamorándonos on UniMás. On Friday, April 17 the network presented a two-hour special of this program at 8pm.

She mentioned that in February they won the sweeps and Univision was the channel with the greatest growth and number in Spanish and were in fifth place in the general US market. He commented that in these last weeks, Univision has shown a 16% growth in primetime and UniMás has grown by 61%.

“This success is based on audience insights and on the diversification of our content (including programming from Brazil and Turkey)”, she explains.

She added that in primetime they have La Rosa de Guadalupe at 7pm with a million A18-49; at 8pm Te Doy la Vida; at 9pm Amor Imposible from Inter Medya; and at 10pm, more modern stories: Sin Miedo a la Verdad and as of Monday, April 27, Como Tú No Hay Dos by W Studios. He mentioned that UniMás launched the Turkish novel Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagül, from 7pm to 9pm.
