Univision News is ramping up its political coverage and continuing its commitment of informing its audience with comprehensive reporting and analysis from the Republican National Convention in Tampa (August 27-30) and the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte (September 4-6). This will include a strong social media presence, as well as working with ABC News under the recently created joint-venture with the organization, to ensure that both networks viewers are informed in English and Spanish.Renowned journalists Jorge Ramos and Maria Elena Salinas, who have been anchoring the Univision Networks nightly national evening newscasts together for more than 25 years, will broadcast from Tampa and Charlotte.
