Univision Digital launched its first original Spanish-language web series, {Tenemos Que Hablar;www.produ.com/television/videos/index.html?Noti=10056} (We Need to Talk) (12×10) featuring YouTube stars Daniel Tovar and Ricardo Polanco. Filmed in Mexico and Miami, Tenemos Que Hablar is a scripted romantic comedy targeted specifically to Billennials, Hispanic millennials, available on {Univision.com} and on Univisions YouTube channel. Hispanics consume 12 hours of online video a month, two percent higher than the average U.S. audience. Launching Tenemos Que Hablar is part of our commitment to deliver a wide range of engaging ubiquitous content that millennials love, said Sameer Deen, senior vice president of Univision Digital. Tenemos Que Hablar follows the rocky, and often hilarious, long-distance relationship between 20-year-old Emilia and her boyfriend Bobi, who just moved from Mexico to Miami. As typical youngsters in the digital age, Emilia and Bobi rely mostly on messaging apps and social media to keep their passion alivemaking for countless comedic situations that will resonate with Billennials. The series is co-produced by Dirty Kitchen, a Colombia-based digital production company responsible for a number of highly successful web series in Latin America, among them Cosita De Niñas. The first 10-minute episode of Tenemos Que Hablar is available on {especiales.univision.com/tenemos-que-hablar} and on {YouTube.com/Univision}. The web comedy will have a total of 12 episodes, which will be uploaded weekly and will remain available for binge watching via those same platforms.
