Univision Deportes announced its sports entertainment show República Deportiva is launching a new modern look featuring a new logo graphic, a dynamic modular set design and new co-hosts. The new logo, featuring the initials of the show RD, will have a contemporary look with a glossy 3D icon, presenting the shows name in a bold and fashionable way. Inspired by the ubiquitous app icon, the new design bestows the logo with a symbolic presence that can be translated and used in a variety of social media formats, including in smart phones, tablets and online. This innovative style also represents a new chapter of branding for the show that is emblematic of a younger audience.Additionally, República Deportiva will offer new segments and introduce new talent such as Univision Deportes personality Lindsay Casinelli and former Nickelodeon Latin America star Danilo Carrera, who will co-host alongside Fernando Fiore and Felix Fernández. Carrera will serve as the new social media and digital correspondent for the show and will be dubbed as the embajador. The show will also expand on its three senadoras, launching a national search for an additional nine to join the cast, and begin to incorporate non-sports celebrities to its roster of guests. This new aesthetic is representative of our growing audience and their passion for cutting-edge entertainment and sports news. As viewers become more interactive, we will meet their demand and continue delivering fun and unconventional entertainment content for everyone. República Deportiva will serve as yet another platform for us to celebrate our culture and connect Hispanic America to the sports they love, says Juan Carlos Rodríguez, president of Univision Deportes.
