Carmen Villalobos stars in Made in Cartagena
Univisions UniMás, formerly TeleFutura, is set to launch Jan. 7 beginning its broadcasting with the shows Made in Cartagena and Quien eres tú at 7pm. UniMás intends to offer bolder and edgier programming for the Hispanic market of the U.S., especially gearing to the Hispanic millennials, which the company refers to as the Más generation. UniMás will partner with Spanish content producers like Caracol International, RTI Productions and Televisa to provide innovative, action-packed dramas featuring provocative characters and daring subject matter, as written in a press release put out by Univision.The launch will begin with the crime drama Made in Cartagena by Caracol starring Miguel de Miguel, Carmen Villalobos and Fernando Solorzano. The show takes its audience into the crime side of the city.The night of its launch, the network will also feature an original production by RTI Productions for UniMás Quien eres tú, starring Laura Carmine and Julian Gil. The show tells the story of Natalia, a woman who agrees to take the place of her evil identical twin sister, Veronica.
