TV Globo Internacional now also available on IPTV

The Portuguese-speaking communities living in the US have another option for watching TV Globo Internacional.Dish Network began offering the channel’s signal through the IPTV platform – a broadcast direct to television via the internet protocol – in September. This distribution makes it easy for subscribers to find TV Globo Internacional, and now they don´t even need an antenna, installation or social security any more.“We’re very happy with the partnership, this is one more alternative for Brazilians who wants to feel closer to home, by watching TV Globo programming as a cure for their homesickness”, celebrated Marcelo Spínola, director of International Distribution at TV Globo.The contract provides for the distribution of all the TV Globo Internacional content – news services, exclusive programs for the Brazilian community, live sports, telenovelas, miniseries, children’s programs and variety shows.
