Fidela Navarro, director of TV Azteca Internacional
TV Azteca presented a preview of its new original production, Las Malcriadas (90×60’), whose shootings were to start at the end of May, under the production of Joshua Mintz. According to Fidela Navarro, director of TV Azteca Internacional, it is an example of the identity of Azteca 13´s new 9pm bar, as well as of renewed stories with greater budgets and better narration.
This social drama will cover topics such as corruption, prostitution, wombs for rent, among others. The story is written by César Sierra and Carlos Madrid and stars Sara Maldonado.
“We launched Nada Personal, produced by Elisa Salinas, which has already been aquired by Telemundo, at the same time we start shootings of Las Malcriadas. It is an example of what the new TV Azteca is, with greater investment, stories that create a lot of talk, with big casts and new rhythm in the narration, that underpin the identity of this new TV primetime bar,” commented Navarro.
