Samuel Duque Duque, president of TIS: Our production services are very strong, and we've made significant progress with our Mexican operations this year
Samuel Duque Duque, president of TIS, remarked that Mexico holds a special place for them, as they’re celebrating their 11th anniversary there this year. While entering Mexican open television initially proved challenging, they’re excited to announce a partnership with Televisa on a few projects this year.
“We’re aligning ourselves with the latest creative and production briefs, as well as the volume of projects different platforms have in development or ongoing delivery. Our production services are very strong, and we’ve made significant progress with our Mexican operations this year. Now, our key challenge is to establish our original projects more firmly within the territory,” explained Duque Duque.
He emphasizes Mexico’s critical importance for TIS. Several factors contribute to this: the vast territory, its proximity to the Anglo market, the potential of the Hispanic market, Mexico’s wealth of talent both on and off screen, and the extensive experience accumulated by its over 50-year-old audiovisual industry. “This combination creates a fertile ground for continued collaboration on exceptional projects with Mexico,” he concluded.
