Dasahey López, the Mexican (Norteño) singer known as El Dasa, will debut as star of the series {El Vato;www.produ.com/television/videos/index.html?noti=10751} (10×60), made by Boomdog and Endemol Shine for NBCUniverso that will soon be launched in the US.In a conversation with PRODU, the artist said, “it is a story that can happen to anyone, it has to do with music, with dreams, with people who migrate from one country to another, starting from scratch; but the most important thing is that it reflects the enormous value of friendship.”People are going to identify with it because to make our dreams come true, we always appeal to our friends, that group of people we never abandon, regardless of whether things go well or not. Besides, I accepted this project, because the character did not force me to change my essence. I express what I think, exactly like El Vato, who gets into trouble to help his friends or to solve some injustice and he does it from the heart, added López. El Dasa´s ease and spontaneity, along with the character´s strength, fills the makers and executives of this new production with expectations regarding the series that covers topics that are relevant for all Hispanics in the US.
