The Consejo Mexicano de la Industria del Doblaje (Mexican Council of the Dubbing Industry) was officially introduced at Mipcom during a press conference. The organization, founded by three companies – Dubbing House, Labodigital, Grupo Macías, and Caaliope-, was announced at the end of September.

The council aims to support and unite among themselves in order to create a Mexican dub signature that complies with international certifications and becomes synonymous of quality. The companies that comprise the council highlight the trajectory that they all have in the industry, the geographical position of Mexico and the current importance of the country in terms of talent, professionals, and productions.

“In Mexico, moreover, we have created a natural accent and a natural language. All we say can be understood in any Latin American country and Hispanic communities. Now the competition is not between us, but abroad: we have to compete with the dubbing that is done in Chile, Colombia, Miami and in other countries”, said to the media Jorge Arregui, president of Dubbing House.
