Thanks for giving value to content in Spanish

When she received her PRODU Tribute for Cross Over for her success in Hollywood, the actress Sofia Vergara thanked PRODU for thinking of her for this acknowledgment and sent her encouragement to the entire industry so they continue producing their ideas and telling their Latino stories.

“Thank you, PRODU Awards, for giving value to our content in Spanish and for continuing to open doors to the world for us,” she said.

Vergara is today one of Hollywood’s best-paid actresses and the most famous Latina there in history. She started her career as a model in her native Barranquilla (Colombia) and although she had already worked in television and cinema, it was the series Modern Family that gave her international fame. Also, thanks to the series, she is considered one of the best US TV comedy actresses.

She is currently a judge of the US version of the successful program Got Talent.

Vergara is, additionally, a successful producer and businesswoman.
