Televisión Dominicana announced that for the third consecutive year, it will be broadcasting the Dominican Winter Baseball League. The 2013-2014 season commences next Friday, October 18th, at 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm PT, as the defending champions Los Leones del Escogido, face off against Los Tigres del Licey, live from Quisquya Stadium, in Santo Domingo. “It is an honor and a privilege for us to be able to present the league for the third consecutive year. Our promise as a channel is to offer the best programming to the Dominican community in the United States and we are confident that we are keeping our word by broadcasting the baseball, said Francisco Giménez, general manager of Channels at Imagina US.Televisión Dominicana will broadcast five live games per week during the regular season and will have full coverage of the Round Robin tournament and Finals. These games are available on the networks regular programming, which can be found in the Spanish packages of Comcast Xfinity, Verizon FiOs, DIRECTV, Cox,Time Warner Cable, AT&T U-Verse, RCN and Bright House.
