Ignacio Alarcón, associate producer and Angelli Nesma, producer of Que Te Perdone Dios
A few months away from its debut in the USA, through the Univision Network, the Mexican telenovela Que te Perdone Dios (120×60′), produced by Angelli Nesma, and a remake of Abrázame Muy Fuerte from the year 2000 by the producer Salvador Mejía, was presented in Mexico City as part of its debut in that country Monday 16th at 6:15pm on El Canal de las Estrellas. For the producer, it is a product with many challenges, to begin with, for being first broadcast in the USA and later in Mexico, and he assured that “in a couple of weeks our schedule will be two hours long, to match Univisión in length of time, and have an ending on a par with them. Until now, we have come off triumphantly on that network, and we expect that if we did well there, here it will be the same, although the audience is different”.Nesma said that this is an adaptation of the film Pecado Mortal by Caridad Bravo Adams and of Abrázame muy Fuerte, adapted by Liliana Abud, “from where we just took the essence, because the subplots are different”.She added that another big challenge is to occupy in Mexico the schedule that Giselle González’s Yo No Creo En Los Hombres has, which recorded between 17 and 19,7 points during its entire broadcast: “It is very good to be in that schedule, whenever someone is allowed to have that schedule it is very good”.The telenovela features Zuria Vega and Mark Tacher, with locations in San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato.
