Telehit has reached three million fans on Facebook, breaking its own record and becoming the first of Televisas networks to reach the number. Telehit began its social reach on Facebook and Twitter in 2010. Rodrigo Gálvez, manager of Digital Content, explained that it is the exclusive content the network puts out, like behind the scenes videos, photos and campaigns designed exclusively for social media that prompted the company to reach one million fans in may of 2011. Because of its success on the social medium, the Telehit Facebook page has become a second screen for its fans. The accelerated growth of fans continued in part because of the incentives handed off by the network, allowing the audience to participate in trivia and attend the filming of programs, among other activities.
