The 3rd Annual TeletónUSA fundraising event raised US$15,539,427 during a live and uninterrupted 30-hour telecast

Fundación Teletón announced that its 3rd Annual TeletónUSA fundraising event successfully raised US$15,539,427 during a live and uninterrupted 30-hour telecast on the Univision Network, cable network Galavisión, and streamed live on {Univision.com}. Airing between Friday, December 12, and Sunday, December 14, the 2014 telethon originating from the Univision Network studios in Miami included live feeds throughout the broadcast from Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and San Antonio. TeletónUSA on the Univision Network reached 10.4 million Total Viewers 2+ who tuned in to all or part of the 30-hour broadcast. “We would like to thank our audience and partners who supported TeletónUSA’s 3rd annual telethon in the U.S. and helped raise more than US$15.5 million to help improve the lives of kids with disabilities. As a mission driven company that is committed to informing, entertaining, empowering and advocating for Hispanic America, I am pleased we were able to unite our community to help support TeletónUSA in providing much needed rehabilitation services to children with disabilities across the U.S.,” said Alberto Ciurana, president of Programming and Content for Univision Communications, Inc.
