Telemundo: We presented the first premium series El Recluso

Marcos Santana, president of Telemundo International, Telemundo International Studios and president of the recently created Telemundo Global Studios, presented at Natpe Telemundo International Studios first production: El Recluso.

The series will be called a premium series, like all the contents made by Telemundo International Studios. “They come to join the categories of drama series and superseries, and are short stories, produced with very high standards: 50% of the team and cast in front of the cameras are people who have the experience of having worked at Hollywood, with the discipline and expertise to render that character to the production.”

Santana states that with this, they will mark a trend in the industry since they will prove to the market that they are able to produce with universal quality.

El Recluso is jail thriller that has 13 episodes. It will be available for the end of this summer and is the adaptation of El Marginal, co-produced by Underground (Sebastián Ortega) and Televisión Pública Argentina.
