Ricardo Coeto, EVP, Telemundo Studios
Ricardo Coeto has been in his position for almost a year as EVP of Production in Telemundo Studios, from the Telemundo/NBCUniversal group, and now faces the challenge of boosting the development of more and better content thanks to the investment that Comcast-NBCUniversal made in the construction of the new studios.“The idea is to centralize everything we have in the current studios we left last week, which are full of history and the stories we take to the screen. This will allow us to work more organically, between the network and the other departments to deliver better contents to our audience and be more influential in the Hispanic market,” said the executive.
The moving is complex due to all the infrastructure the company owns. In March they will be settled in the new headquarters, also located in Miami, one of the most modern in the region, assured Coeto.
“These facilities will give us greater production power. There will be no excuses to not produce more and better contents. The intention is to bet on original ideas that come from our development department. We are working on new formats for the schedule of superseries and the8pm to 9pm. Next year will be full of challenges. From 2016 to 2017 we were the most watched Spanish-speaking network in the Schedule from 8pm to 11pm and we want to work to maintain that.
