Reina De Corazones, premiering on Telemundos primetime the first week of July, is the 25th novela produced by Telemundo Studios Miami since it began operations in 2003.The 140-episode telenovela, written by Marcela Citterio (with whom Telemundo has also produced Corazón Valiente and Aurora), stars Eugenio Siller along with the Telemundo debut of Paola Núñez. In addition to playing the leading role, Siller sings the novelas romantic theme song. The main theme Bailando is played by Enrique Iglesias. We have around 120 people working in this novela, including actors, technical crew and production staff. We have two units producing about 40 minutes per 12-hour day, Mondays through Saturdays. Its a story with lots of action that takes place in Las Vegas. Were producing tapeless in HD. Weve built about 100 sets, three of which are very large, proudly told PRODU Aurelio Valcárcel, EVP of Novela Production of Telemundo Studios. One of the technological innovations used for the first time in the production of Reina De Corazones is the use of Lightcrafts Previzion.Previzion is a new resource. It allows us to place moving images over green screen to make the product more dramatic. Before we would use static images that were a bit boring, said Carlos Álvarez, Video Operator of Telemundo Studios.I feel we keep raising the bar every time we produce in Miami. We make it better with every production to offer our audience an unbeatable content, said Valcárcel.Reina De Corazones premiered on Telemundo in Mexico last April 28th.
