Villa Paraíso is a new and original 3-minute, 20-episode short series that seamlessly integrates Xfinitys capabilities and products into the storys narrative. It is first time we collaborate on a breve novela format. We selected certain markets for the first time because it is such an innovative format and we wanted to see how successful the format is and consider for future efforts said a spokesperson from Comcast. The Spanish-language episodes will air after the late local newscasts for four consecutive weeks in nine Telemundo markets beginning tonight. The nine Telemundo markets include Atlanta, Albuquerque, Chicago, Denver, Fresno, Houston, Miami, Sacramento and San Francisco. The content will also be available to viewers online. Following their on-air premieres, the episodes will be available online and additional exclusive content will be hosted in Telemundo stations websites and via Xfinity On Demand online. The series was filmed on-site in Miami, Florida and its plot is representative of any city in the U.S. Villa Paraíso tells the story of a charming community and home to a colorful group of tenants who are more than a memorable ensemble; they are a family of neighbors. This unique community finds itself in peril when a powerful real estate development company sets its sights on the property and attempts everything within reach, including masquerading true love, for ownership of the building.
