Marcos Santana, president of Telemundo Internacional, said the reality El Artista will be recorded in Orlando at one of Universal Studios soundstages, with 2,200 square meters and capacity for 3,000 people; and will be bigger than Operación Triunfo, starting with 13 two-hour episodes.El Artista is an original format by Reset TV of Spain (Tony Cruz and Josep María Mainat), especially developed for Telemundo. Shooting is set to start in the last quarter of 2014.Santana added that over 40 international clients would be invited to the recordings of the show, with the intention of enticing them to acquire the format so that it can be reproduced in many countries almost simultaneously with the U.S.
