Una Maid in Manhattan helped Telemundo reach record numbers
Telemundo continues its trend of record numbers delivering its best February among total viewers, following its best January and best year. The network recorded 1,172,000 total viewers during Monday through Sunday prime of the entire month, up eight percent year over year.The spike in numbers can partially be attributed to the highly rated novela Una Maid in Manhattan, which grew the time slot at 8pm by 51 percent, as well as Flor Salvaje which drew the time slot at 9pm by 23 percent, according to Nielsen. Februarys results secure Telemundos position for seven consecutive months as the fastest growing Spanish-language broadcast network year over year in Monday through Friday and Monday through Sunday primetime in total viewers. Its also considered the fastest growing broadcast network season-to-date, regardless of language, during Monday through Sunday primetime with a 24 percent increase in total viewers and 18 percent among adults ages 18 to 49.
