Telemundo ranked as the most watched Spanish-language network in primetime on New Year’s Eve, fueled by its year-end specials Al Rojo Vivo Edición Especial: Adiós 2023 and Bienvenido 2024.
The network ranked #1 among all key demographics in the 7-11pm timeslot, delivering 252,000 Adults 18-49, 112,000 Adults 18-34 and 852,000 Total Viewers, according to Nielsen.
To kick off the night, Al Rojo Vivo Edición Especial: Adiós 2023, hosted by Lourdes Stephen and Jessica Carillo, reviewed the most relevant news events and top entertainment news of the last year. Beginning at 8pm, the Bienvenido 2024 special, hosted live from the iconic Times Square in New York, San Antonio, TX, Miami, FL, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Mexico City, offered viewers numerous musical performances by top Latin artists, including Alex Fernández, Chiquis Rivera, Los Ángeles Azules, Gente de Zona, Lupillo Rivera, Calibre 50, Guaynaa, Justin Quiles, La Materialista, Nacho, Zion and Lennox and Lenny Tavarez, among many others.
