Tamayo will be responsible for leading Telemundos creative team to produce on-air promotional campaigns
Telemundo Media has appointed Diego Tamayo as VP of On-Air Promotions. He will be based out of Miami and will report directly to Susan Solano Vila, executive VP of Marketing for the company. Tamayo will be responsible for leading Telemundos creative team to produce relevant and effective on-air promotional campaigns. He will supervise the creative process from concepts and scripts to production and post-production for all on-air promotions, stunts, launch campaigns, image spots, network branding and other creative services projects. He will also maintain consistent brand identity across all on-air projects. Telemundo has set the industry standard for reaching and connecting with the U.S. Hispanic audience through innovative marketing creatives and campaigns that support our unique original productions, said Solano Vila. Diegos impressive industry track record of conceptualizing and executing some of the best promotional campaigns in Spanish-language television will serve as a great addition to our marketing team as we continue to promote the Telemundo Media brand and all of our programming properties. Diego Tamayo is the former director of the Promotion Department at Telefutura. Prior to that he had also overseen marketing and promotions for Caracol.
