Telemundo Media names Patty Marrero SVP of Client Partnership Development

Telemundo Media announced it named Patty Marrero senior vice president of Client Partnership Development. Marrero will report to Dan Lovinger, executive vice president of Advertising Sales & Integrated Marketing for Telemundo Media, and Enrique Pérez, senior vice president of Sales for the Telemundo Station Group. She will be based in New York. In this role, Marrero will oversee all new client development and enterprise selling activities for Telemundo Media, including Telemundo Network, Telemundo stations, mun2 and all digital properties. Working closely with internal stakeholders and business units, she will formulate new business and partnership strategies, as well as develop and direct all strategies for client development and marketplace deployment. “Patty brings to Telemundo Media a stellar track record of success in network advertising and sales that spans the course of over a decade. Her broad knowledge of the U.S. Hispanic market, coupled with her deep connections to key decision makers both on the client and agency side, has earned her the utmost respect of her industry peers and will be integral to leading our sales teams to sustained growth and new business opportunities across all of the Telemundo Media properties,” said Lovinger. “As our local stations continue to strengthen their performance around the country, Patty’s reputation and expertise in driving revenue growth will be a tremendous asset to the Station Group in order to maintain and reinforce relationships with our advertising partners,” added Pérez. Marrero joins Telemundo Media from Vme Media Inc., where she served as SVP of Network Sales from 2010 to 2012.
