Levántate is Telemundos three-hour morning show
Telemundo Media announced today it named producer Mari García-Márquez to executive producer of Levántate, Telemundos three-hour morning show that delivers a fresh dose of news, information and entertainment. García-Márquez will report to Maria López Álvarez, SVP of Alternative Programming and will be based in Miami.An award-winning 25-year television production veteran in the Hispanic broadcast industry, García-Márquez will lead the Levántate production team. In her new role, she will supervise all aspects of the creative content and production, including budget and staffing. She will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational oversight of the show, as well as oversee day-to-day operations of Levántate. Additionally, García-Márquez will be responsible for producing special editions and for cross-promotion of the show.Mari is a veteran producer who brings immense talent and experience to Telemundo, and she is a valuable addition to the Levántate team. Her proven leadership skills and creative vision will help guide the growth and future development of one of the key programs on our schedule, said Álvarez.
