Telemundo announces roster of sponsors for the 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Telemundo Communications Group announced the roster of sponsors lined up for The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm, the network’s highest-rated entertainment special. The 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm, will be broadcast live on Telemundo, Thursday, April 28, beginning with the red carpet at 7pm from the BankUnited Center in Miami, Florida.“The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm is consistently Telemundo’s most-watched entertainment special, drawing large audiences across all platforms and screens. Our viewers are passionate about music, and this annual awards show offers our sponsors an opportunity to connect with highly engaged consumers in a variety of unique ways on-air, off-air, and online,” commented Jacqueline Hernández, Chief Operating Officer, Telemundo.For the third straight year, State Farm is the title sponsor of the show under the theme Tu Música, Tu Ride. Seamless State Farm integrations will be featured in the show and throughout the red carpet. In addition, Telemundo Stations Group and Billboard expanded the Billboard concert series from 5 markets in 2010 to 7 markets in 2011, sponsored by State Farm, including Chicago, New York, Miami, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles. State Farm also renewed their digital sponsorship as the presenting sponsor for The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm within Telemundo.com.Additional sponsors include Burger King, Garnier, Sprint, Target, T-Mobile, and Toyota.
