Darling Burdiez
Telemundo 47/WNJU announced the addition of Darling Burdiez to their news team. She will join the station later next month and will work as a co-anchor and general assignment reporter.
Most recently, Burdiez served as an anchor and reporter for Noticias SIN in the Dominican Republic.
“Darling has long enjoyed a strong relationship with her audience. They respond to her and trust her. I know that Darling will also connect with our Tri-State viewers and look forward to Darling sharing the stories important to them – and the many communities we serve across the Tri-State,” said Cristina Schwarz, Telemundo 47 president, and general manager.
Burdiez brings nearly two decades of experience as an anchor, reporter, and producer to Telemundo 47.
“Telemundo 47 delivers the news, weather and consumer information most important to our Tri-State viewers. Their anchors and reporters are also visible and active within the community. I am excited to join the Telemundo 47 family and cannot wait to begin,” said Burdiez.
