Owned by NBCUniversal, Telemundo 47 New York / WNJU is Telemundos local television that serves Spanish-language viewers in the New York Tri-State area. Launched in 1965, Telemundo 47 was the first local television station to air Spanish-language programming in the New York market.We are excited to celebrate our 50-year anniversary with our viewers and honored that the world-famous Empire State Building will shine red for Telemundo 47.
