Telemundo 40/KTLM announced that its local weekday newscast, Noticias Telemundo 40 at 10pm was the market’s most-watched late local newscast, in any language among Adults 18 to 49 and Adults 25 to 54 during the February 2016 sweep period. Telemundo 40 is located in the McAllen-Brownsville-Harlingen market where rating data is available via Nielsen’s diary-based systemThis is the first time that Telemundo 40’s 10pm Monday to Friday newscast led the market as the most-watched late local news program, regardless of language and in two key demographic groups –Adults 18 to 49 and Adults 25 to 54–during an entire survey period.”Telemundo 40 has been able to transform the way our communities receive their local news. Today, Telemundo 40 has the resources and tools to report live, breaking news and weather as it happens from all around the Rio Grande Valley and even Mexico. When the Holy Father visited Mexico for the first time, Telemundo 40 was there reporting live from that country, because our viewers wanted the news as it happened.
