TeleFutura’s Quiero ser estrella presentado por Sears announces first semi-finalists

After a live competition on Friday, October 29 on TeleFutura’s Escándalo TV, a panel of expert judges chose Esteban Vásquez from Odessa, TX and Diana Galindo from Chula Vista, CA as the two finalists in the singing category of the Quiero ser estrella presentado por Sears (I Want to Be A Star Presented by Sears) contest who will move on to the grand finale.The winner will be selected in a star-studded finale special of Quiero ser estrella presentado por Sears on Thursday, November 18, where the six finalists, two from each category, will perform live for a chance to win the grand prize.Next Friday, November 5th, two more finalists will be chosen from the dancing category to advance to the grand finale. This time the panel of judges will include Maribel Guardia and Andrés Toro from TeleFutura’s novela Un sueño llamado salss (A Dream Called Salsa).The following week, on Friday, November 12th, the last three finalists from the extraordinary talents category will compete for the final two spots in the grand finale. Additionally, viewers and {Univision.com} users will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite contestant among the six finalists to win the Viewer’s choice award.
