Telefe: Chile´s VTR incorporates our international HD channel, allowing us to have a broader coverage within the operator

In the framework of Andina Link, Daniel Otaola, Telefe´s Content Distribution manager told PRODU that the agreement signed with Chile´s VTR to broadcast its international channel on HD as of March 1st has a mutual benefit, that allows the channel to broaden its coverage within the operator, and the operator in turn strengthens its HD offer, marking a differential compared to the competitors. VTR´s grid has included Telefe´s international channel for more than 15 years, and due to its important bet for high definition, it also incorporated the option of the channel in HD. Throughout 2015, Telefe´s international channel in HD will reach several panregional operators, aside from the Hispanic market in the US.
