For the first time since the shows launch, Calas production team travels from the studios in Miami, FL to a Latin American capital. Bogota, Colombia becomes the center of this weeks interviews with some of the most important and influential national personalities in politics and journalism. Cala, an intimate space with journalist Ismael Cala, airing Monday through Friday at 9pm, will broadcast a special week of interviews with the following guests:Monday, October 3rd and Tuesday, October 4th: Colombias former President, Álvaro Uribe Vélez, talks about his life during the past 8 years in the first interview given to CNN en Español after his presidential term.Wednesday, October 5th: Colonel Alfonso Plazas Vega, currently incarcerated in a Colombian military prison after being condemned to 30 years, speaks with Ismael Cala directly from the Escuela de Infantería del Ejercito Nacional in Bogotá.Thursday, October 6th: Awarded Best World Police Officer in 2010, General Óscar Naranjo Trujillo, general director of the National Police in Colombia, talks to Cala in an exclusive yet intimate interview.Friday, October 7th: Recognized Colombian journalist, politician and former Vice-President of Colombia, Francisco Santos Calderón, talks about the first year of his cousins presidency, Colombias current President, Juan Manuel Santos Calderón.
