SomosTV enters into affiliation agreement with NCTC

SomosTV has signed an affiliation agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative, Inc. (NCTC).The agreement allows for the offering of SomosTV´s two proprietary networks VeneMovies and Semillitas to NCTC’s members. NCTC represents nearly 1.000 member companies who own and operate cable systems throughout the United States.VeneMovies offers the best selection of films from Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and others) and Spain. The channel also offers a Free VOD option that has been tremendously successful among its viewers.Semillitas offers state of the art animation from Latin America, Spain, the United States and other international countries, dubbed in neutral Spanish in a safe, soothing, culturally relevant graphic package that emphasizes Latino cultural elements. Semillitas includes a free VOD option, as well an attractive online presence where parents can find useful information and children can start their interaction with the computer via simple, visually oriented games.“We are pleased to offer these additional Hispanic networks to our members as they look to expand and enhance their product offerings to this important market segment,” said Frank Hughes, senior vice president of Programming at NCTC.“We are excited about the possibility of reaching more Hispanics, hand in hand with NCTC members.
