Semillitas celebrates its ninth anniversary

SOMOS TV’ Semillitas is celebrating nine years supporting parents by offering the best and safest entertainment content to their children. 

On December 7, 2011, Semillitas started in the United States and Puerto Rico. Through the years, it expanded its coverage to the Caribbean, Panama and Central America. Semillitas became an international channel by SomosTV, successfully performing in the highly competitive segment of children’s entertainment.

Semillitas offers the best entertaining and educational programming, carefully selected, with a plus of teaching the traditions, stories, songs and other topics of the Latin culture. The strategy of offering successful, safe, healthy and violence-free entertainment, at a time when the abundance of unfiltered entertainment causes concern among parents, has been key in the growth of the channel’s distribution.

To complete this celebration, Semillitas will show its Christmas spirit by presenting the beautiful film Caillou’s Holiday Movie, accompanied by special Christmas programming throughout the month.
