Santa Evita and El Grito de las Mariposas among the original dramas featured on Star+

With more than 130 actors and actresses from eight Latin American countries, including dramas, dramatic comedies, comedies, thrillers, biopics, and documentaries will be part of the original content available on Star+.

In dramas, Santa Evita stands out, a series filmed in Buenos Aires and made and co-produced by Non Stop and that is based on the homonymous best seller by Argentine writer Tomás Eloy Martínez. Salma Hayek and Pepe Támez, both from Ventanarosa, are the executive producers and the direction will be under the Colombian director, Rodrigo García. It stars the Uruguayan actress, Natalia Oreiro.

No Fue mi Culpa will be among the dramas available. It was produced in three local versions: Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil, and tells stories about femicides, inspired by real events of women of different ages, social classes, and places of origin.

Additionally, the third season of Impuros (season 3), filmed in Rio de Janeiro and Montevideo produced by Barry Company; Limbo… Hasta Que Lo Decida, series filmed in Buenos Aires and Madrid, and made by Pampa Films / Gloriamundi Producciones; El Grito de las Mariposas, one of the first acquisitions to be broadcast exclusively on Star+, filmed in Colombia and made by Pampa Films / Gloriamundi Producciones; Diciembre 2001 (title to be confirmed) written by Mario Segade and produced by Kapow, based on the book El Palacio y la Calle by the journalist Miguel Bonasso; and Serie, on the history of the end of slavery in Brazil (title to be confirmed), a Brazilian production by Cinefilm.

Among the dramatic comedies: Terapia Alternativa, produce by Kapow in Buenos Aires; El Encargado, created and directed by Argentine film and TV directors and producers, Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, starring Guillermo Francella and directed by Pegsa; Planners, starring Celeste Cid, filmed in Buenos Aires and made by Pegsa with the executive producer of the Argentine event planner Bárbara Diez y Bellas Artes, written by the architect, art curator and film writer Andrés Duprat, director of the Museum of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires, and developed by Cohn & Duprat.
