RTVE: Ministerios del Tiempo and Carlos Rey Emperador were already acquired by Canal 22 and Blim in Mexico

RTVE’s new signal Star HD is already available for the Latin American market. Chile and Panama are the first markets to purchase it, as confirmed by Víctor Reyero, director of Communications for Distribution, company that represents RTVE for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, who highlighted that in Mexico they have already placed contents like Carlos Rey Emperador and Ministerios del Tiempo, both for Canal 22 and the latter for Blim.“This year, Star HD is the star. It is a channel that gathers hits in fiction series like Cuéntame, Isabel, Carlos Rey Emperador and Ministerios del Tiempo. It is the international window that allows taking these contents to other markets like Latin American one, where countries such as Panama and Chile already launched it. In Mexico big operators are reviewing it and we expect to be with some of them soon,” he explained.He highlighted that Mexican signals like Canal 22 already acquired the series Carlos Rey Emperador and Ministerios del Tiempo, this one also bought by Blim, Televisa´s OTT platform.
