Roberto Stopello, writer at Telemundo Studios, author of Señora Acero 2 -which won in the 10pm slot in US Hispanic- said that with the programming he knows is coming in 2016 and 2017, they will surely beat Univision in more schedules. “The gap is increasingly smaller. In the 10pm schedule Telemundo is number one every evening, and that slot has an important audience, the biggest in prime time. It has been number one with several programs on weekends. It’s very nice to be so close, because you have to make better products, a bigger effort, a greater investment and I think we all win when good things start to enter the market”, he expressed.Regarding the multi-platform, he said: “In Señora Acero we are writing in Telemundo for the first time specifically for an app that is going to be launched on the 50th episode. TV viewers will be able to play with what they have on their phones and what they are watching on the screen is different from that”. Regarding work with the executives, he said: “We have direct and extraordinary communication both with Joshua Mintz, who is my direct boss, as well as with the president Luis Silberwasser, who watches the episodes and talks with me and communicates and has conversations and talks about planning, what´s ahead, what he wants and that is marvelous. We also have meetings with Marcos Santana”.
