Revolution Studios has acquired a stake in leading Latino digital entertainment company Latin Everywhere. The studio also announced it has licensed Spanish-dubbed versions of titles from its 120-film library for distribution through Latin Everywheres global OTT platform, Pongalo. Titles will include such worldwide hits as xXx, Maid in Manhattan and Black Hawk Down.Already one of the worlds largest Latino digital-rights holders, Latin Everywheres library includes over 50,000 hours of film and television content anchored by award-winning telenovelas, including Juana la Virgen, the basis for the hit U.S. television series Jane the Virgin.Latin Everywhere will use Revolutions strategic investment to expand its currently-free Pongalo OTT service by adding an upcoming subscription offering. Subscriptions will feature Pongalos most premium content, and will include the most popular titles from Revolutions library.In our continued effort to seek innovative revenue opportunities for the expanding Revolution library, we are acutely aware of the importance of tapping into the worlds vast, tech-savvy Latino audiences.
