Report of Business Burea shows ¡HOLA! TV’s audience growth of 63% in first year of transmission

¡HOLA! TV has succeeded in engaging the audience month after month. The latest Business Bureau report states that on its first year of transmissions the network shows tremendous momentum in a content niche that was previously unattended.The only network dedicated to royalty, celebrities, and lifestyle, marks an impressive growth of 63% compared to October 2013, earning a 3% audience share that positions the network as one of the Top 10 networks in the Variety Genre from the DIRECTV pan-regional platform.Ignacio Sanz de Acedo, CEO and general director of ¡HOLA! TV, expressed that “the audience response could not be more positive as it exceeds all expectations, outperforming networks which have been in the market for a longer period of time”.In regards to the shows with the most followers, the report highlights Mundo ¡HOLA!, conducted since October by Michelle Badillo, and ¡HOLA! Diario, presented by Ana María Monroy. However, programs such as !HOLA! Cinema, which premiered as recently as last month and presented by Daniela Di Giacomo, are also performing with good results reaching Top 10 positions. Competitively, the ¡HOLA! TV content on fashion and celebrity lifestyles, have also surpassed other well-known networks in the same sub-genre. “This data suggests that our strong original production initiative, which will increase in 2015, is an indication that we are heading in the right direction” said Sanz de Acedo.Distributed in all Spanish-speaking countries, including the US Hispanic markets, it is in Venezuela where the channel experiences the greatest audience peaks. The report also states that ¡HOLA! TV has reached 24% of the subscribers to the platform.
