Renowned cardiologist Dr. Juan José Rivera joins Univision News as Chief Medical Correspondent

Univision News has signed Dr. Juan José Rivera as its Chief Medical Correspondent. Beginning this week, Dr. Rivera will appear regularly throughout Univision News programming. Dr. Rivera will host two weekly health segments within Univision’s top-rated newsmagazine Primer Impacto (First Impact). In addition, he will consult on a variety of medical and scientific topics, as well as report on the latest medical news and breakthroughs for all Univision News programs, including the national newscast Noticiero Univisión, (Univision News) the primetime newsmagazine Aquí y Ahora (Here and Now), and the Sunday morning public affairs program Al Punto (To the Point). He will also contribute to {UnivisionNoticias.com} and {univisionnews.tumblr.com}, in addition to appearing regularly on Fusion, the new Univision/ABC News English-language network that is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2013.
