Full of drama and intrigue, the captivating story of love and betrayal Sansón y Dalila premieres on UniMás on Tuesday, May 22 at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT) and airs Monday through Friday in the same timeslot.

From RecordTV, creators of Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos, La Tierra Prometida, and Rey David, this Brazilian production is based on the sixteenth chapter of the Book of Judges in the Hebrew Bible.

The epic tale begins with the prophetic announcement that a young man will be born to dedicate his life to God as a Nazirite. Samson is given immense strength to save Israel from the hands of its enemies, but after falling in love with a Philistine woman, he breaks his vows and asks for her hand in marriage, unleashing consequences of betrayal and revenge.

Delilah, a beautiful courtesan of unholy persistence and devilish deceit, then seduces Samson and attempts to unveil the secret of his strength. Passion, desire, lust, and romance unfold throughout this tragic story.

Sansón y Dalila’s stellar cast includes Fernando Pavão (Samson), Mel Lisboa (Delilah), Miguel Chire (Samson’s rival Faruk) and Rafaela Mandelli (Samson’s wife Jeda).
