RCN: We will launch the channel RCN Novelas in the Hispanic market of the USA

As part of the launching of RCN TV´s RCN Novelas channel, Julián Giraldo, executive VP of the group´s International Channels, stated that in 2015 it will reach the Hispanic market in the USA, considered one of the most important by its community, which demands good content. He said that other goals are to strengthen the success of Nuestra Tele, as well as to continue with its original production.”One of our goals has always been the Hispanic market in the USA, we want to communicate with a growing community. We are sure it is a great opportunity and alternative. One of our goals is to continue with the distribution of RCN Novelas and the consolidation of Nuestra Tele, which has had excellent results”.Giraldo pointed out that the launching of this channel is a result of “the success of telenovelas on the Nuestra Tele channel, which has been in Colombia for three years. We decided to make a channel focused on perennial successes, recent telenovelas with love and hate. It is specialized in telenovelas that have placed us above other great channels,” stated the executive.To finish, he said they will continue with their original production, mainly to be broadcast on the Hispanic market, with the objective of “having an encounter between the community and our content, through original products”.
