Núñez: Univision programming has grown significantly and Televisa has demonstrated great knowledge of Hispanic audiences
Executive producer Alexis Núñez, who currently produces the Televisa show Sabadazo and has worked as a Televisa consultant for Univision, said to PRODU hes preparing new independent projects to be broadcast in the U.S. and Mexico, referring to the latter as the best place to create content.Without a specific title in either company, Núñez was responsible for the transformation of Univisións Despierta América and El Gordo y la Flaca. He currently produces Sabadazo, a Televisa show that also airs on Univision. Núñez said both companies are making a greater effort to offer attractive content to their viewers.With the change of Despierta América we doubled its audience. In general, Univisión programming has grown significantly, and since the arrival of Alberto Ciurana, it has grown even more and has become the network that best caters to Mexicans in the U.S. Similarly, Televisa has demonstrated great knowledge of the audiences in Mexico, the U.S. and Latin America, added Núñez.He said he has been developing several project on his own, among them a magazine-style show hosted by Ninel Conde and Los Mascabrothers. The show does not have a title yet, but it was created with the Mexican market in mind and its also intended to air in the U.S. Hispanic market. Núñez is also working on two other projects, one of them created for Internet.
