Peruvian channel Fusión Gourmet introduced at The Cable Show

During the Cable Show in Chicago, Luis Guillermo Camacho, Manager of Image and TV of América TV of Peru, introduced the new Peruvian gastronomy channel Fusión Gourmet to U.S. pay-TV operators“We would like to position it in the main Hispanic markets in the U.S. and, of course, wherever else we can take it. We even had talks with an Italian cable operator who showed interest in carrying our channel. We also want to launch it at the pan-regional level. Obviously, the first stage is to launch in Peru for which Telefónica and DirecTV have already expressed interest,” said Camacho to PRODU.He also mentioned Televisa Networks is interested in distributing Fusión Gourmet and the company’s other channels, and Castalia Communication also showed interest in distribution in the U.S.“We expect to launch in July during Peru’s national holidays. We have a grid with five shows: Maestros de la gastronomía, Sabor Perú, Dulce compañía, Tomar y beber, and Perú orgánico,” added Camacho.
