Perú Mágico to launch cooking show Desde el Jardín

Desde el Jardín is a new cooking show that will premiere April 13 on Perú Mágico, starring Chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino. The new show will focus on more than just recipes – it will highlight the origin of products and their environments. The chef will travel through valleys, farms and orchards in search for new ingredients and experiences. Known for his work in Malabar, one of the best restaurants in the world according to the San Pellegrino list, Schiaffino learned his craft at the Culinary Institute of America in New York and Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Castigliole d’Asti. Currently, he is one of the most celebrated Peruvian chefs. Perú Mágico is an ethnic, multi-themed channel produced by Media Networks. In the US, it’s distributed on the 431st frequency on the packages Óptimo Más, Más Ultra and Lo Máximo on DIRECTV.
