Patricia Janiot of CNN en Español shares her vision for the new channel CNN Latino

Patricia Janiot, journalist and anchor of CNN en Español and CNN Latino, shared with PRODU her vision for the new U.S. free-TV channel CNN Latino, home of her primetime show.“Each day we’re reaching more and more Latinos. We just entered the New York market, home to a diverse and vibrant community that allows us to keep them informed and entertained, which helps them make better decisions,” said Janiot.The host of CNN Latino’s En Nuestro Mundo summarized her vision for the new channel with three thoughts: “a great challenge, it was an issue that needed resolution, a dream come true.”Regarding the new Hispanic audience, she said: “We’re going to discuss with them the issues that affect them the most, such as immigration, the economy and jobs.In regards to the success of CNN en Español in Latin America, she said it was built brick by brick.
