Pasiones will premiere exclusively the series Elif on Monday October 23 at 8pm

Pasiones has acquired the exclusive rights for the US Spanish-language premiere of the Turkish series Elif, which will debut on Monday, October 23, at 8pm.

“Turkish novelas have been performing extremely well on our network,” commented Francisco Giménez, general manager of Cable Networks for Hemisphere Media Group, Inc., Pasiones’ parent company. “Elif has been a phenomenal success worldwide and we’re thrilled to add another hugely popular Turkish drama to our lineup with the exclusive US premiere.”

The series tells the story of a young innocent girl who is sent away to live with a trusted friend on a farm by her mother to protect her from her evil stepfather, who had been planning to sell her to pay for his gambling debts.
