Mario Kreutzberger, president of Oritel paid tribute to Emilio Azcárraga Jean, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Grupo Televisa and Founder of Fundación Teletón Mexico
Organización Internacional de Teletones (Oritel), the governing body and parent organization of Fundación Teletón, and its president, Mario Kreutzberger, paid tribute to Emilio Azcárraga Jean, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Grupo Televisa and Founder of Fundación Teletón Mexico, at a star-studded gala dinner held last week at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. I am humbled by the honor that Oritel has conferred upon me, but most importantly, energized by the fact that our work has inspired and motivated so many others to help the less fortunate. I thank Oritel for this very special tribute that I forever cherish,” Azcárraga Jean said.In addition, Oritel announced that it will join forces with Univision to create Teletón Univision in the United States. It will be the organizations fourteenth chapter globally. Fundación Teletón currently oversees 13 chapters across Latin America. “I am proud that this year, in collaboration with Televisa and with the support of our very own Mario Kreutzberger, Teletón Univision will launch its historic effort on our flagship network, and we will invest the money raised to help children in our communities throughout the United States. We will dedicate our leading media platforms to this important cause which is in line with our mission to empower the Hispanic community in the United States,” stated Univision Networks president, César Conde.
